27 Club and Pacificlinks (China)

Chief Development Officer and General Manager of 27 Club and Pacificlinks, China:

As General Manager of the 27 Club in Tianjin, China, it was Ben’s responsibility to oversee all areas of the operations. As an exclusive private member club, the emphasis on this role was to deliver high-end service standards and international standard course playability surfaces.

As CDO of Pacificlinks China, Ben oversaw the planning and concept stages of the Beijing cluster of course redevelopments, working with such designers as Tiger Woods, Greg Norman, Fred Couples and Ernie Els for Course routing and strategies.

Construction of the entire facility took 18 months with majority of the natural sand dune corridors left untouched. The golf course was always destined to be an environmentally sustainable and memorable place due to the steep topography and endless views of the ocean.
