The Bluffs golf course at The Grand Ho Tram Casino in Southern Vietnam, designed by Greg Norman, was successfully developed and opened in 2014. The entire facility was constructed in 18 months, with the majority of the natural sand dune corridors left untouched. It is destined to be an environmentally sustainable and memorable place due to its steep topography and endless views of the ocean.
In 2017, Ben was appointed by SunCity Group to manage the Hoi An South Integrated Casino Resort development project in Central Vietnam. With renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Linkshape construction, the project aimed for completion in 24 months. Ben, as Vice President of Golf, supervised construction, development, and future business planning for the golf course.
Our team organized the Vietnam Italy Golf Tournament – VIG League Cup, celebrating 50 years of diplomatic ties. Attended by VVIPs, ambassadors, and influencers, the event highlighted our dedication and expertise. A heartfelt video showcased the special bond between Vietnam and Italy through golf, leaving a lasting impression on all participants.
Our team organized the BRG Open Golf Championship 2023 with the Asian Development Tour. We managed sponsors, broadcasts, and partnered with the Danang government to enhance golf tourism. The eco-friendly course, constructed in 18 months, preserved natural dunes and offered breathtaking ocean views, becoming a landmark.
Ben, former General Manager of the 27 Club in Tianjin, China, ensured top-tier service and course conditions. As Chief Development Officer of Pacificlinks China, he led planning and concept stages for Beijing’s course redevelopments, collaborating with designers like Tiger Woods and Greg Norman. The resulting sustainable golf course, with ocean views and preserved dunes, was completed in 18 months.
The Ho Tram Open served as a significant platform for Vietnam to demonstrate its potential in golf, contributing to the country’s tourism GDP. Broadcasted live to over 140 countries, the event highlighted the region and raised awareness about golf’s impact. Following its success, a series of minor tours have sprouted in Vietnam, paving the way for larger-scale events in the future.
We established a vocational college in Vietnam in 2019 to offer industry-certified training in golf operations and maintenance, filling a gap in local certification. Developed in collaboration with the Vietnamese government, our program gained recognition and produced its first graduates in 2020. Many of them are now employed at Hoiana Shores Golf Club.
As the Chief Development Officer & Asset Manager of Rich River Golf Club, Ben leads future development, course redesign, and infrastructure construction. His major projects include a new residential estate and a modular 4.5 Star Hotel. With vast golf operations experience, Ben ensures alignment with the Club’s strategic goals and supports operational needs in collaboration with the board and committees.
We excel in enhancing STS’s online presence through strategic rebranding, social media management, e-newsletter communications, and a sales library. Prioritizing website enhancements, we aim to position STS as a digital leader, ensuring a strong and cohesive online footprint.
